This was a student project with MullenLowe. We were assigned to come up with ad ideas for their client, California Avocados. The goal for the project was to find a word that represented California and visually represent that by replacing the “CA” in Avocados with imagery.
For the routes concept, the “CA” is created with a plane route and a compass. These two items represent different ways people navigate in California. For the wonder concept, the “CA” is created with a seal playing with seaweed. This plays off of the wonders of the ocean.
The texture in the routes concept creates a sense of adventure. The light rays and bubbles in the wonder concept fleshes out the ocean and adds more depth.
